About me, well I'll be 57 in August and I've been married 18 years now, to a very wonderful man. I have had Fibromyalgia for 17 years of our marriage and my man has stood by my side through it all. I have all 18 trigger points throughout my body making it almost impossible to do all of the things I used to do. But, I don't let it get me down or make me bed-ridden because I still try to be as active as possible and do all kinds of activities, such as lots of different arts and crafts. My husband walks with me every evening to get my exercise. Plus I watch exercise videos for Fibromyalgia patients. I have one son from my prior marriage who is now 34 years old. My husband has two children from his prior marriage, a girl and a boy. All of our children are on their own now, so it's just myself and my husband, yeahhhhhh! haha Just kidding, we miss them all the time. We do however have one grandson, from my husband's son, and we try to get together with them at least once a week during the weekend if possible. He is the apple of my eye, I love him so very much. I love it most when he jumps out of their car and runs to me screaming "GRANDMA, GRANDMA, I MISSED YOU" He is now going in 2st grade and just turned 7. I hope he always stays this sweet, he has two very good parents. I got my nickname because out of 5 children I am the eldest and the shortest. I'm 5 foot 6, I know, that's a pretty average height, but not in my family. My brothers and one sister are all much taller than I am. Starting at 5 foot 9 to 6 foot 5. I feel so very tiny next to them. haha We have two Himalayan female sister kitties. We got them when they were only 8 weeks old and now in May they will be 14 years old. Their getting old now and don't do as much as when they were babies but that's to be expected. Their both so very lovely and lovable. In fact, they pretty much demand to be loved whenever they feel like it no matter how busy I am, I have to stop what I'm doing and reach down to pick them up and cuddle and talk to them for at least 15 to 20 minutes. If I try to put them down before that time has ended they won't leave me alone until I've picked them up again. haha They love to be talked to and petted and brushed every day. Their indoor kitties so they've never been outside. One time my hubby left the front door open while he was taking the garbage out and the next door neighbor's small dog got inside and scared the bejeebee's out of them as they've never seen a dog before and didn't know what to think about him. Of course they both went running and hid under our bed and wouldn't come out until they knew for sure that he was gone. Now, they always get really nervous when daddy leaves the door open. haha We both love them to bits and pieces. They've been great therapy for me! I wouldn't know what to do without them!
