I'm retired from K-State University, where I taught ESL. I loved working with international students. My first career was as a journalist, writing for and editing primarily weekly newspapers. For many years, I have also been a freelance writer, specializing in creative nonfiction. I continue writing children's short stories and scripts for a children's radio program.
