Have you heard of "The 100 Year Life" - the book that lots of 40s and 50s were reading last year. The idea being that if your are going to live to be 100, be prepared to have many different careers, and many different "lives". I'm only 80, but that suits my life so far. We (myself and all my children) were all born in Berkeley California (I'm a UC graduate in International Relations/Middle East Studies. . .long ago). My current passion is thinking about need to educate/raise Biocentric children (not Egocentric) and all the delicious connections to our natural world and the "knowing" that we are part of something wonderfully and comfortingly connected. I so excitedly and immediately worked on 70 puzzles upon joining 18 months ago. . . only to discover I could "publish" them only 4 at a time. I thought I'd happily never get on top of that task. I've been staying put pretty much here in Bali where I brought my son for 4th grade at The Green School, and he graduated in 2022. Alone here with dogs and a garden and jigidi. . . and the school down the street where I am still a part of that school family. I hope more adventures are forthcoming. . . .greatest so far have been a slow boat up a river in Borneo and trekking to Timubktu to look at its ancient libraries. I am also here as Audslibrary.
I joined Jigidi on 9 December 2020 and was last seen on 8 August 2022. I've solved 2502 puzzles (4.1 daily) and put together 135000 pieces (222.2 daily)
