Welcome to this quick guide to the new puzzle player on Jigidi.

This guide is for all Jigidi puzzlers using our new puzzle player (you can read more about the background for the new puzzle player here). If you are not yet using this new puzzle player, you can go to your settings under 'My profile' and toggle 'Use HTML5 instead of Adobe Flash Player'.

In the first section of this quick guide, we'll show you where the different functionalities are located on the solving page, like for instance 'Preview'. Then, at the bottom of the quick guide, you'll find answers for the most frequently asked questions related to the puzzle player.

We’re afraid you can't - we have removed the link to the Jigidi app from the puzzle player.

The reason for this is that Apple has made it harder for us to know when to show the link and when not to. Showing the link only makes sense when a puzzler is using an iPad and has the Jigidi app installed - in all other situations a click on the link will result in an error.

But, here come the good news:

The website is now fully functional on iPads and other mobile devices, so the need for a native app is no longer there. Therefore, the Jigidi iPad app is going to be retired someday in the future. We will keep it working for a while but do not plan to make any updates on the platform before retiring it all together.
