I was a technician for RCA Corporation for 30 years. I have a wife and three adult children.

Current hobbies and interests include: cycling, travel and camping, hiking, cooking, photography, riding trains; particularly steam, air shows and other outdoor activities.

I ride a recumbent tricycle. Toured in eastern and western Canada, all parts of the U.S except Southwest and just a little in central Europe.

Past activities, before i got too danged old, included: canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, multiday bicycle (tricycle) touring, yard work.

I used amateur (ham) radio skills for communication support on multiday bicycle camping tours, mostly in Michigan including mountain bike tours off-road in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

I have had leadership roles (as an adult) in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Civil Air Patrol cadet squadron, Central Indiana Wilderness Club.
