@Max_Tooney - just got home and saw this and the first thing I thought was this was the Playboy Club prototype...you and I spend too much time together! (I'm not complaining...)

Thank goodness. I thought maybe Ballard Street was a famous bordello location!

OldManMontgomery

Yup, Max, that is the one.

Max_Tooney

As in the comic strip, OMM?

OldManMontgomery

Has a certain "Ballard Street" flavor.

Did some research. This was taken from Sacramento Daily Union, vol. 81, Number 99, 17 June 1891 from the paper’s advertising columns:
The “Jack Rabbit” Club. Members of Company A, First Artillery Regiment, last night formed “The Jack Rabbit Club”. The purpose is to cultivate sports of the gun and rod. The club is to meet Tuesday evenings.

Turn of the century Playboy™ bunnies for sure.
