You were very lucky, Nicci! It is such a lovely part of England. I love the warm Cotswold stone. Whereabouts were you raised?

BTW...these were the tulips on our balcony...I have reverted to red geraniums this year and they are coming along nicely.

I really hope you are keeping well and have managed to get both your shots. We have had our first jab of Moderna and were told that we had to wait 16 weeks for our second...however, "they" are saying it might be earlier as Pfizer and Moderna are increasing their deliveries and the U.S. is going to help us with Astra Zeneca. Some U.S. border towns are even offering vaccinations to cross border truckers and nearby Canadian towns.

BTW I have seen your name spelled so many different ways that I have chosen the nearest one to your "handle"! LOL ❤️❤️❤️

Faye, I was born & brought up in the Cotswolds - I miss it very much. These flowers are beautiful.

You're very welcome, dbnc2. If you like flower puzzles you can find a lot on our trip to the Cotswolds in England. I would create a large puzzle and a small puzzle...usually 24 pieces...of each picture. They start around page 64. Of course, there are lots more scattered throughout my pages as I love taking close-ups of particular flowers, hanging baskets, gardens, etc. :)))

I don't know if you are aware of the quick way to get back to page 64 or not. Just go to page 2 of my puzzles and click on a puzzle. Then click on the "address" line at the top of the page where it says "jigidi.com". The address for that particular puzzle will show up with a "2" at the end. Delete the 2 and type in "64". Hit "return" and it will take you right to page 64.

dbnc2

So pretty and I like doing small puzzles best thanks for sharing

gemstone

You're very welcome, Marina. They were gorgeous! However, I think that it's back to geraniums this year...if we can ever go shopping again! ;)))

MarinaNephele

Love the color of your flowers . Thanks.

gemstone

Thank you, Francine...and the blessings of Christmas to you all...with extra snuggles and ear scratches for Echo. Stay safe. ❤️❤️❤️

@porgy

On Nipper's puzzle, you didn't leave a space in front of the "@". If anything touches at either end, it won't work. Now, the puzzle didn't come through but I looked for it...definitely a cutie! TY :)))

I had also bookmarked this one:

porgy

That one did, I don't understand. Anyway, the puzzle of your twin sister!

porgy

I tried @gemstone on a puzzle for you from Nipper7, but it didn't work gem.

Thanks for the encouragement. I know it is (their yahoos) sometimes my fingers are ahead of my brain. I have thought about Canada for along time. My husband is glued to Kansas. I keep trying to bloom where I am but sometimes it becomes difficult.

Some of our rates are rising again, Marilyn. Ontario and Quebec are recently above 200 new cases/day and Alberta and British Columbia are between 100-200 new cases/day...which is a result of bars opening up and patrons not following the rules here. Our government has now ordered restaurants and bars to shut down at 10 p.m. so some are closing up completely. They have also introduced heavy fines...up to $100,000 for certain infringements of the new laws. Masks must be worn on all Public Transit, etc. or you don't ride. In Alberta I think it's Mennonite communities causing the rise in cases. However, The Maritimes and the Prairies as well as the far north frequently have zero cases. BC's death rate has also lowered...it tends to be a senior in a care facility with health issues. So, if you are "returning to your roots"...don't choose Toronto or Montreal! LOL I'm sorry to hear about your long time friends. It is good news that they are not in hospital...as long as they are able to care for themselves. I wish them a quick and COMPLETE recovery. Many virtual hugs are being sent your way. Stay calm. Stay cool. And know that you are loved. ❤️❤️❤️

I am so frustrated, Kansans protesting against precautions used to prevent more COVID infections. I keep telling my husband I am thinking about Canada. I know each country has there yahoos but we seem to have more than anyone else. Two of our long time friends are down with it. They were just diagnosed. They both have multiple health issues. They are still at home. We are hoping they recover.

gemstone

Thank you, Francine. Actually, it was yesterday but you know Ank's party go on for a week at least...so grab a glass of champagne and kick up your heels! ❤️❤️❤️

In our country, the infection was not as large as in other states. Have a nice time. I send many greetings.

gemstone

Thank you. ❤️

irmachac

Yes, human health is important. Be careful, I will think of you.

gemstone

Our premier and the premiers of the two largest provinces, Ontario and Quebec, have asked that our borders remain closed...the U.S. epidemic is out of control and we don't want to import further trouble and deaths in Canada.

irmachac

Yes, even here we have to keep at least two meters and after each guest everything at the table must be disinfected. Only a family can sit at a table together. Otherwise, the rules must be followed. It's the same in schools. Some parents are worried about their children. Culture is allowed to a certain number of people.
Let's hope everything will be fine by the summer. It is already possible to travel. Some state borders are already open. He can go to certain states for summer vacation.

gemstone

Masks and physical distancing are still required here but restaurants are now open at half capacity...with no more than 6 people per group...and separated from other groups by 2 metres and plexiglass shields. There are no sports, concerts, large gatherings, etc...probably for the rest of the year...or until a vaccine is ready. Small children MAY attend class as of June 1st but many parents fear for their children and will keep them home. Temperatures of staff and students will be taken each day. My husband does the shopping and I have been out only once since March 16th.

irmachac

Faye today we could go out the first day without a veil. It is still mandatory for closed places. It is now possible to play sports, go to restaurants, zoos, botanical gardens, but to school only from the first to the fourth grade. And what about you ? How are you. Stay safe the whole family.

gemstone

Thank you, Irena, you have a good week! Nice to think of you...way over there...and me way over here...being able to chat here together while we're both online. Stay safe. Blessings ❤️

Didn’t actually know there were dwarf sweet peas but a love the usual ones so good luck with those. You top stay safe and well in this strange time. No I don’t know brie1648 will try and find her thanks for the heads up.

gemstone

Then my mission here is accomplished, Jillian! LOL Alas, they are no more...I deadheaded the final half dozen or so yesterday. Now I'll wait until the leaves die back and see if I can save them for next fall, too. I'm going to try dwarf sweet peas for the first time in that same pot next...hope that they do as well. Stay safe and stay well. ❤️

BTW...do you know brie1648...she is publishing puzzles on her site of her First Class flight via Emirates airline to Uluru and your south island. Brenda just loved it. She's from Filey on the east coast of England and used to teach at Cambridge.

JillianB

These are absolutely fabulous Faye, just found them and they certainly made me smile. ☺️

gemstone

Thank you, Jana! Good to see you. Lots of hugs returned. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Birthday dear Ardy, Best wishes and stay healthy. Enjoy your great day, hugs and love from all at Dl. Castle ♥♥♥
That is lot of Beauty, thank you Faye, Hugs and Love to you too ♥♥♥

gemstone

Thank you Ardy and Suzy. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. They are gorgeous and I visit them frequently throughout the day just to soak in their beauty. I did have to create a shadow though...which darkens them a bit...otherwise the petals reflect the light so much that they don't look real. We are going to try to dry and keep these bulbs for next year as well...although I may have to divide them...I think we purchased a bag of ten bulbs and we have 16 tulips! And possibly two more little ones... ❤️❤️❤️

pumpkinhead

One HAS to smile when seeing these!!! Happy Wednesday, Faye! ♥♥

ringleader2

They are beautiful and wonderful, Faye. What a great sight on your balcony. I enlarged the picture to fill my big screen and just sat and enjoyed them. Thank you, dear friend. A glorious first puzzle of my day. These and you brighten my day. Hugs♥♥♥
