Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Yesterday I took a detour to take photos of the many Daffodils that blossom on this long lane next to the park. I spotted a Heron standing alone in the grass and suddenly this other Heron came flying from a tree and landed not far from the other one! It's obvious what he is planning to do!
Although they didn't make a sound the other Heron started walking towards this one!(check out the link)

I know Herons make nests in high trees and I hope they found a good spot for their love nest. I couldn't wait for their ritual to start because my bus home was coming!☺☺

Thank you, GG. Yes this park is very well maintained. ☺

Thank you, Jill. Yes, it was spectacular to see the wide wing span when he flew my way!
Where now the new build is- the street next to us- we used to have an undeep water and you could always see one or two Herons 'fishing'. I'm glad this park is protected area with no chance of a building plant! So many creatures have lost their habitat this way!

Great photo. We have a couple of herons that reside near us, they are the most graceful flyers. Thanks Impie

GOSPELGRANDMA

What a beautiful bird, and the grass is so green! ☺

Thank you, Evelyn, Anne, Marilyn, allie and Faye, for your lovely comment.

I had seen the Daffodils when I was on the bus to the hairdresser yesterday. I was happy they are still in bloom.Beforehand I had taken my camera with and decided on the way back to take a detour. Took the tram in the lane of my hairdresser (almost in front of the door) and drove to this lane. After taking some photos I crossed the road and came passed the park. The bus stop home is almost halfway the lane, but walking to it I was really happy to see a Heron standing in the grass, but I was even happier when this Heron with the branches in his beak came flying down and land so nearby too! Usually I spot Herons standing along the waterline looking for fish, but this was a real treat! 😊😊😊

One part of our Stanley Park is a nesting area for over 40 pairs of herons...right near tennis courts and people coming and going. A friend lives near by and mentions all the noise...once when we passed, I only noticed the stench! But they're still lovely...

OMG I guess 1 1/2 cups of coffee does the trick. Good thing I don't drink caffeine in the evening.

Great picture. They are beautiful birds. When we went camping in Ontarioi at Grundy Park, there were many there.
