I would have to see it up close and personal to decide. If I were driving a 4WD I wouldn't care. You're welcome, stunned!

Now there is a road I would go out of my way to avoid, thanks for the fun post.

Bill_I_Am

Nowadays, I probably would be too, Barb.

Bjresh

Same here Gahle, it sure is pretty and I'd be as blue as the mountain at 13,000 feet!

Bill_I_Am

Haha, you're welcome, Gayle. Be sure to brush before bed. :-)

Tincup

I think that's the best theory Gayle.

dhi

Lol

Bommom

I think the road has been squeezed out of a toothpaste tube. That's why it's white. Thanks, Bill!

Tincup

Yes, I think so, based on the Google satellite view. I followed that road up as high as it would go until it stopped abruptly. Then I looked at other roads (highways too) in the area. They were all much narrower than this road. Perhaps this road was made extra wide so that it could hold more snow piles pushed by the plows in winter? There is another city further downslope on the other side of the ridge, and the road picks up again there.

Bill_I_Am

I wondered about that too, Marilee. Do you suppose it's a dirt road?

Amazing photo, and how ironic that the snow is on the road, not so much the mountains, even on the south-facing side of the slope!

dhi

Yes, that would be perfect, let's hope into the time machine and go for a drive.

I think my fingers picked the wrong letters and typed drone! Oops....

Bill_I_Am

I also think it is beautiful, Donna. And I think those 600 hairpin turns would be fun on a motorcycle, in the summer, 30 years ago. :-o)

Bill_I_Am

You're welcome, Cyndi. I believe this photo was taken by a satellite, which I suppose you could argue is just a specialized, super-sized drone. ;-)

dhi

Beautiful photography. Six hundred hairpin turns? I'll pass.

Isaly2

We are really getting some excellent and amazing photos taken from the drones. Thanks Bill
