k: Thanks for amazing story. I think very brave is the answer.

At the battle of Midway there were four B-26s armed with aerial torpedos and sent to attack the Japanese force. This was the Susie-O which was evading the Zeros and made a low level pass over the Akagi after dropping her torpedo at which the gunners strafed the deck. Unfortunately two B-26s were lost and the two which made it back to Midway were scrapped. Each man in Susie-Q received DSC and three of the crew got Purple Hearts. No torpedo hits were scored.
