Hi Pammi, I think of you at times and always give a prayer that things improve for you and Eric. I wanted to let you know that there are people around this world that only hope for the best for you and Eric. Marilyn

valt46

Pammi hope everything is alright in yours and Eric's world, thinking of you both all the best Hugs♥♥♥

canoekaw

Hi Pammi, I have been wondering how you are doing. I know it can be hard sometimes when a husband has surgery. I hope all is going well.

Pammi

Dear Val, tisketsmum and Marilyn, thank you for your concern. There is, of course, no cure for Eric's problem as the nerve endings will keep on dying and so increase the spasms. It is like watching someone having an epileptic seizure. I made a video of some of his episodes yesterday and finally have something to show the Neurologist and our GP because describing it in words in no way conveys the horror he has to endure and to date, I am the only person to have witnessed it.

canoekaw

I am so sorry to read about Eric's difficulties. I am sure a whole-body spasm would be draining emotionally and physically. Peripheral Neuropathy is hard enough for a person to cope with. Wishing you a giant magic wand to help him. It is also so hard on you helping him deal with all this. I will keep you both in my thoughts.

tisketsmum

Pammi I'm sorry to hear of Eric's health issues and hope the doctor can offer him some hope for improvement. You're both in my thoughts.

valt46

Just checked your page Pammi, you and Eric are having a rough time I hope you have better news by Tuesday. I am having bother with my heart again so as you say it is what it is, I was supposed to have an urgent appointment for another scan it has arrived 7th November lol thinking of you both Hugs♥♥♥

Pammi

Good morning, Marilyn. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Unfortunately, Eric is having a very bad time lately with the Peripheral Neuropathy and the whole of body spasms are becoming more frequent and leaving him more mentally and physically drained and not giving him enough time to recover properly before the next bout strikes. Unfortunately it is what it is. We have an appointment with the Neurologist this coming Tuesday so, needless to say, we are hoping she has a magic wand to wield but we will see. ♥♥

canoekaw

Hi Pammi, I have not seen you for a while. I hope everything is OK. I have been hit or miss as we were on the road trip for 10 days and then cataract surgery and next week the other eye. Just thinking about you.

Pammi

Yes, it is a lovely city, Taisia and a very friendly place to live. ♥

davitai

This is a beautiful picture!

valt46

Found it Pammi Hugs♥♥

Pammi

Hi Val. I have just posted a comment on Nev's puzzle which explains all the carry on Eric is going through.

valt46

Pammi are you alright have not seen you for a while. Hope all is well with you and Eric Many Hugs♥♥

irmachac

Dear Pam, I wish you all the best for your birthday, especially a lot of health, happiness and joy in life. enjoy your birthday !!! Sincerely, Irena.

canoekaw

I read on Impie's comments that your husband is struggling with the re-occurrence of an infection. I am so sorry. I hope they find the right drugs to treat it. You will be in my prayers.

nillie

That's correct Pammi. Maegi wrote then that this departure broke her heart and as I can remeber, she was not the same since then. I belice that this had an impact on her health, generally speaking.

Pammi

Hi Nillie. Yes, knowing that Maegi's eyesight has now got so bad makes me feel very sad for her. When she first mentioned problems with her sight I assumed that it was something that could probably be fixed but that has now turned out not to be the case. I think losing your sight must be a huge thing to come to terms with. I never can forget how upset she was when her neighbour moved away and took her cats with her. Maegi was desolate and missed those kitties so much as did all her Jigidi friends. How harsh life can sometimes be. ♥♥

nillie

Pammi, I saw you comment in maegi's page, and YES, you spoke for all her Jigidi friends. Hopefully she will show up whenever she can, especiall after the quick traumatic deprture from our beloved freind Sue. Thanks♥♥♥

Pammi

Hi Nillie and Impie. I have to keep wondering if and when the sadness and sense of loss will ease and the tears will stop but I think there is still a long way to go. I try to think of Sue being with her dear little Molly and the joy they share at having once more found each other. ♥♥♥♥

Impie

I saw it too, nillie, but unlike Pammi, I personally feel I couldn't reply. I still feel bad over her loss and I have solved some puzzles of Sue's page a while ago, but then I re-read some comments and I got upset. I won't ever forget her but I'll wait a while before I can visit her page again! I hope you understand.♥♥

nillie

And thanks for being there as well, I mean in her page♥♥

nillie

I saw your comment Pammi...Yes, I am still crying whenever I see her name, and it is almost every day since she is still, and will remain, "followed". I loved her. She is being missed dearly.

tisketsmum

Impie

Hi Pammi, I don't know whether you've already seen tisketsmum's puzzle, but I know you might like to be informed about Sue too......it's not good :((

Pammi, that is nasty that Eric had a fall. A worry for you about his other problem too. I do hope it settles for him. Your health is so precious. We are off to Perth in early September too. Hugs to you my friend. ♥♥♥♥

valt46

That is so frustrating for you☺♥☺♥

Pammi

Yes, it did actually, Val. The surgeon could not find any cause for the problem this time so it's a bit of a mystery. He wants to see Eric in a couple of weeks so I guess we will take it from there. ☺☺☺

valt46

Hi hope everything went fine for Eric yesterday ♥♥

Pammi

Thank you, Val. ♥♥

valt46

Pammi that is no good, some times in life it feels like it is two steps forward and three back. Hope Eric is feeling a bit better bruises and scratches healing fast so they can go ahead on Thursday. I think we have forgotten what a good nights sleep is, there always seems to be one of us not sleeping properly so the other one has disrupted sleep as well, thinking of you both ☺♥☺♥

Pammi

Hi Val. Unfortunately, Eric had a fall a few days ago as he attempted to step up onto the kerb from the roadway and came down heavily on his left side and scraped his arm and leg quite badly. As luck would have it, it all happened just outside the Chemist shop to which we were heading anyway. Once inside, they cleaned his wounds up and dressed them but by the time Saturday came ( i.e. yesterday) I was a bit concerned about any possible infection so hauled him off to the hospital where we spent about three hours while they checked him over thoroughly and took x-rays which proved to all be OK. Why I am being so particular is that he is due for another small surgical procedure this coming Thursday as the water works are playing up once again and the surgeon may not be prepared to operate if there are any exposed wounds. Oh, woe, it's just one thing after another. I would kill for a decent night's sleep. ☺☺☺☺☺

valt46

Wow this is a pretty city Pammi, hope you are both keeping well have not seen you for a few days♥♥

octomom

Pammi, I'm going to respond in a minute.

laurajane

Thanks, Pammi, for your nice message.

Pammi

Hi Laura. Yes it sure is a lovely city and we really enjoyed living there. Because it is so far from all the other state capital cities which are all on the east coast, it does not have to vie for first place like the (sometimes) friendly rivalry between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. While I am happy to be back in the state where I was born (Queensland) there are many things I miss about living in Western Australia. Have a great day. ☺☺☺☺☺

laurajane

This is impressive!

Pammi

Thank you so much, Bobbie. Yes, I did have a very nice day with lots of lovely cards and lots of phone calls. We actually lived in Perth for twenty-five years from 1989 to 2014 when, completely out of the blue, I got this overwhelming urge to return once more to my home state of Queensland so it was really nice to be remembered by so many of the friends we knew from there. ☺☺☺

luckybie

Pammi, looking through comments I see that it's your birthday today, ♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪ Happy Birthday Dear Pammi, Happy Birthday to you !! On this your birthday, I truly wish the best for you, health, happiness and enough wealth to enjoy it all!

nillie

Thanks Pammi...if only 50% of our wishes will really come true, then we will be satisfied I guess...
As for the storm, I hope that our Jidigy friends all over the world will be fine, since the news are quite frightening. Here in Israel we expect the srotm towards evening, 100 k"m wind blows (hope there is such a word in English to describe srtong wind) and heavy rain. Along the shore where the land is flat, it is usually a problem, in Tel Aviv for example, but where I live, in Netanya, (25 k"m to the north), the sea shore is not flat and the first line of houses is quite high, in fact sometines we use a lift (a glass lift) down to the sea (if we are lazy to use the stairs...). So this is not bad at all in certain cases.

I hope that you will be satisfied in your new home. It is not easy to move, and as I see it, it gets harder with age. on the other hand changes may bring good energies and who knows, even good surprises ♥♥♥

Pammi

Hi Nillie, Sorry, I am all over the place these days and missed your kind New Year wishes. I trust you had a lovely introduction to 2018 and let's all hope that it proves to be a happy and peaceful year. I am happy to say that we are really loving our new house (approx. 20 years old) and we bought some new furniture yesterday which gets delivered on Friday. We still have stuff that needs to have a place found for it but I am working on it. Eventually it will all come together. ♥♥♥

Pammi

Thanks a million Mrs Q.E. The big day is actually tomorrow (4th) therefore I am still officially younger than I will be after midnight rolls around tonight. Ha! Ha! Regrettably, I have to to admit that both Eric and myself have appointments with the dentist tomorrow so not a lot of celebrating involved there I have to say. Doesn't everyone try to spend their birthday in the dentist's chair???? Daaah!

Mrs_Quinn_Eskimo

Pammi - a little friend told me it was your birthday - I am sure this is a little bit late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! - the Quinn's, Little Bit & Reese's ♥

Pammi

Thanks mate. ♥♥

Pammi, if you get the 'nervous jerks' when dealing with a computer, I know exactly how you feel. A computer problem drove my daughter to go back to smoking after she had quit for two years! I saw her, she was shaking! Well I surely hope that you can find reliable help now that holidays are over. The person who came to your home may not have been the right person. Now the right one will show up...crossed fingers. ٩◔̯◔۶

Pammi

Many thanks, Bobbie, for your very kind wishes. Unfortunately, the computer is still having problems and as today is the first day that most businesses are back at work after the Christmas/New Year break, I will make a start on finding someone to come and fix it properly this time. We did get someone who was recommended to us to come out to put it all back together after our move and lo and behold, after he had gone and I sat down to use it, many things would not work properly. My only consolation is that I can still get Jigidi. Could not get in touch with the person whom we paid to fix it as they have been closed down since Christmas Eve and not reopening until the end of January. Such is life. Happy New Year to you and your family. ☺☺☺

luckybie

Pammi, Happy New Year ...today, if it's still New Years and probably winding down for you "down under girl." Perth is so beautiful and I've heard that there is much to enjoy there. I wonder how you're coming along with your computer, etc. Do your comments below mean that you are back with your computer and TV? Moving is always so traumatic, one way or another. Even getting used to your new surroundings and functioning comfortably again can be a challenge. Hope you and Eric are doing well and your bodies are cooperating too. ♪♫•¸❤¸•♫♪

nillie

Thanks Pammi. In fact; I was worried since you did not show up, and it is very unusual as I can recall, so I asked Impie about you ans was informed that you are O.K. it's just connection problems caused by moving. Hopefully you are satisfed in your new home!! Happy new year Pammi!
See you in Jigidi♥♥

Pammi

Thank you for your kind wishes, nillie. We have moved house and have had endless problems with our TV and computer so have been off the air for ages. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and send best wishes to you for the New Year. ♥☺♥

nillie

Marry Christmas Pammi...,Happy holiday to you and your beloved♥♥♥

Pammi

Thank you Irena. Yes, Perth is a really lovely city. ♥♥♥

irmachac

Hello Pammi, thank you for the beautiful shot. Have a nice day: -) ... Irena

Pammi

Yay, so do I Janet. Undoubtedly, he is feeling and looking much better than he has for the past two years. It is as though a huge weight has been lifted off him since being told that he does not have Parkinson's. A pity that he was ever diagnosed as having it in the first place. ☺☺☺

jan42ful

What a view thanks Pammi. Hugs to you and I hope that Eric continues to improve. Hugs ♥♥♥
