Thomas Kinkade is an incredible artist, what he can do with lighting is amazing. I remember going into one of his stores years ago, but I haven’t seen another one, they may have closed.
@smazik Hello Frans, I see that you wrote 6 hours ago, I’m sorry I didn’t reply, I’ve been away on a long trip today (I drove to the other end of Tennessee to get my vaccine.) The lighthouse is located in Booths Bay, Maine. There’s so many beautiful lighthouses on the east coast, this was one of the plain ones :) Thank you for working the puzzle !
Hi Tea. What a quaint small delightful lighthouse. It's lovely. Wondering if a true family lives there? Thank you for posting it. Check out the 4 photos I took so that you could see the renovations in the backyard and the pool. Linda
Good evening @Karenpete, yes it is shorter than what we typically think of lighthouses :) This one is located at the opening of a large harbor, on the east coastline of Maine. Thank you for working the puzzle . .
So different from west coast lighthouses. Seems as it can’t be much of an aide to navigation. Our lighthouses sit on huge cliffs and are tall slender towers so they can be seen at a distance. May be this is on a river or lake.
Hello @Kreutt :) How are you? Forgive me for being a bit confused, not sure if your comment is to me or Bikerkath, we’ve swapped so many comments today. Cape Elizabeth sounds nice! I’ll look it up, I like good seafood :) Have a good rest of the day! -Tea
If you ever go, there is an awesome lobster shack at two lights in Cape Elizabeth. Enjoy your meal right on the headland if that's what you call it. Go at dusk and see the lights.
Riight, Bar Harbor light would be Bass Harbor, on the lower shore; I went camping there, group on Harleys w/tag alongs! Fun! In 1985 I went on a whale watch out of Kennebunk or some beach along the lower coast; never saw a whale. Ever watched the documentary "Irish Lights" ..Lighthouses of Ireland. If it's on, do watch! 4 parts.
@Bikerkath, this is in Boothbay Harbor, we had gone on a 20 mile round trip whale watch boat ride and passed the lighthouse on the way out to deeper waters. And of course, there were no whales on the New England coastline that day, lol :))
