The plant is doing well and since about 2002/2003 it blooms lovely white flowers each year! In the link is an overall look on the plant. We also have a smaller offspring of her since 2016 which also blooms, though I can harly reach it as it's sitting along the fence under the Acer!☺

Thank you so much, lfh!

Thanks, Patsy, looking at the whole plant the flowers look like dancing white fairies!☺
I'm glad you enjoyed the close up.:)

It does, Faye! LOL thank you💝💝💝

Thank you, Anne. Such sweet memories of your grandmother. ♥

Thank you, nillie. Every time it amazes me how 'mysterious' a close up of a white flower in the sunshine turns out. I love it":)Thanks and good night♥♥

Thank you, Ella. I'm sorry you can't keep them alive! This white one is planted in 2001 or 2002, not exactly sure, but it seems to like its' spot. We planted its' offspring along the fence in the shade of the Acer and that is what they really like. My pink Astilbe grows in front of the fence next to the rainwater barrel and only catches sun 'stripes' that peek between the gaps of the fence boards! The ideal spot it seems!☺

Thank you, Kathie. I'm glad you like the photo, I'm also very pleased with it! 'Graag gedaan!' ☺☺

Thank you, Val. They are indeed lovely, I love the plumes they bloom. I have two whites (mother and child so to speak☺) and a large pink one. We used to have two red ones in the past too but they were planted in the rockery and got way to much sunshine, so they died!!! I'm glad the others are in the right spot☺☺

Lovely! This is also one my grandmother raised. I do wish she were alive to tell me all about her gardens.

The whole plant looks nice, but I especially like this closeup in bright light with dark background.
