Looking through the aerial lift bridge

I was able to spend a couple of hours alone at Duluth, MN's Canal Park -- just myself and my camera. It was a gorgeous day, and I enjoyed seeing what I could find of interest. The ship out on the waters in this shot (taken when I walked across the bridge) was at anchor there. I don't know if it had to wait for a berth in the harbor or why it stayed out there.
