The West Texas Kids are strictly inside except on the rare occasions Gracie get out in her harness, but the 2 neighborhood kids that have taken up here probably will. ☺☺☺

Great Dandelion patch, Betty! I can imagine a West Texas kiddo putting a wet nose to one of these. ;-)

You are right Anne!
Impe, if I can keep the West Texas Kiddos out of the ponytail palms they do okay. The fronds short in places but okay! ☺☺☺

I only knew that the leaves of dandelions are used as lettace!! Never tried it though! LOL

You've convinced me, Betty, I can tell that you have a green thumb….and also a lovely helper! ;-))

There's elderberry wine mentioned, but I'm not sure about the dandelion.

When I think of Dandelion wine I think of the old Arsenic & Old Lace. Didn't the old aunts make it to "handle" the old men?

When my kids were preschool age we lived on a five acre farm. But before kids, my husband then had grown up in an over protected environment. He heard about dandelion wine and I let him try making it. As I recall he ended up throwing it out. LOL

Aha!!! Same thing different stages! I never had horticulture in college! ☺☺☺

Aged dandelions, not wine variety - they have to be yellow for that.
