Good for her, Peggy- l expect she is a healthy woman- To be healthy it seems you have to move, move those muscles...
l am still not! And this addiction to Jigidi does not help!

In my youth (under 60 yrs) I went camping off and on my whole life. There was a time when I did not want to = I wanted room service and a comfortable bed. I have a niece who lives in WinterPark, Colo. and she is totally an outdoor gal. Skis, snowshoes, etc. fishes (she will teach you how to fly fish, lol) AND mountain bikes and hikes, climbs mountains. She has a group of friends who have been hiking for the past 25 or 30 yrs, and I am talking about 10- 30 miles or more every week. Dang, she is in great shape!

Peggy, l never went on a real hike nor camping trip in my life- Have grown up in cities and walked up many stairs but l am not the outdoors type- Too bad for me-

A superb picture! Never hiked in Kings Canyon, but when you don't hike in the mountains you miss the splendor of the high country.

WOW!- All these photos of national parks were taken by superb artists on their cameras- We look at a pretty picture and go on to the next without a thought as to what it takes to capture that image -
Thanks, Donna-

This picture of Dusy Basin, Kings Canyon Nationwide Park, California, is from the final time I carried a heavy full-frame equipment on a protracted backcountry journey. My digital camera system with out the tripod weighed near 10 kilos. Currently, I’ve been carrying the smaller Sony a6500 with the 10-18mm F4 OSS and Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS lenses and have lower the load in half.
