Why are you reporting this puzzle?

A new month so a new page I turned over today to...August already. Can you believe it and where does time go? But on a positive note: for 31 days I get to watch this cute kitten drawn by the talented Dutch artist Francien van Westering. She makes drawings of her own kitties she has/had in her life.

Late to the party! Just love this adorable curious kitty ....and not just because he/she reminds me of someone. ♥♥ Francien has done it again. ;-))

And the statistics are showing that the 18-30 age group is being hit really hard right now....at least here in the US. I'm sure they've the same attitude. I've lost all grandparents, parents, a daughter and a well-loved husband and that's too much many times. I've no wish to lose anyone else! We all have our time, but there's no reason to take life flippantly.

Impie

Yes, Anne.People get confused by all the different rules. Overhere it's not much different. Wearing a mask in public transport is mandatory. People are advised to wear one where one can't keep 1½ metres distance and Government trusts people to take responsibility and use their common sense. The scientist aren't on the same level about masks, one will say it'll give false feeling of security and others would like to see it mandaroty everywhere! Lots of young folks think they are untouchable and have "Corona parties". If they want to get sick it's their choice, but when they get sick, they're likely to spread the virus too!:((

Atsutsa

Yes, Impie, all people have to do is look at the US for how the virus will spread and concentrate in areas where folks are acting imprudently (not wearing masks, not washing hands, socializing in bars and restaurants etc). We have are fair share but I'm thankful the the folks in New Mexico seem to be pretty good at following the rules....at least compared to Arizona (which has finally caught on), Texas and Florida.

Impie

Perhaps a bit of both, Faye? :)))
P.S. I think he couldn't Faye, so he solved the puzzle (fastest no less) instead! LOL

It's all very interesting, Pammi, thanks. Almost every day we can learn something new here on Jigidi "University"....and this round you are the teacher! ♥

Thank you, nillie, fingers crossed August will be "reasonable" for all of us ♥♥....2020 will be a year we're not going to forget in a hurry!

Thank you, GG....Yes, Francien is very talented. I'm going to look for her 2021 calendar too!
Time really flies. I sometimes get the feeling hours get stolen during our sleep. Monday morning you wake up and in a blink of the eye it's already Friday again! ☺

GOSPELGRANDMA

I know what you mean, Impie. I CANNOT believe it is already August! Your newest calendar page has once again been a delight, though! Such an adorable kitty, and talented artist who draws these pictures!! ☺

nillie

Cutie indeed! May August 2020 be "reasonable" to all of us♥♥

Pammi

Impie, in the northern hemisphere the horses' birthday in on the first of January and in the southern hemisphere it is the first of August. Yes, you are right, if a horse is born in July than it is classed as being one year old on the first of August.

I am a mine of trivial information, aren't I? ♥

gemstone

Certainly not mischievous...just curious, right? :)))

P.S. Has L. been in snapping pictures of the butterflies yet? LOL

Impie

Thanks, Pammi, yes, it's a cutie pie♥☺♥
P.S. Horses day???? right....I've never heard of that. ☺☺
We do have 'Werelddierendag" (World's Animals Day) on 4 October overhere, but I think every day should be that! ♥♥
So, when a horse is born today, it's one year old already?? Sounds like how my next door neighbour counts....His kitty Shakey was born in April 1985 and she died April 2005, yet he claimed to my Vet (in 2013 he once drove Goofie and me to the Vet) that Shakey was 22 when she died???!!! ...Oh well...:-)))

Yeah, Anne, August again, can you believe it? I took a peek to next month's picture and was in awe (again).
Corona virus won't dissappear in a hurry, in fact I'm afraid now people are allowed to make holiday and travel again...the virus will peak and spread after they'll return home:( (and what to think of all the tourists that are now visiting my country, in particular the 'beach' places...I know I'll stay away from them as far as I can!)

Yeah, lurdo, thanks, it makes you just want to cuddle and play with this little kitten. ♥

Oh yes, Betty, you of all people recognize the 'signs', don't you? :))

Mischief in the making!

A cute Kitty baby, lovely Thanks Mrs. Impie.

Atsutsa

Oh my! August again. Hoping this corona crud disappears but it's not likely.
Franciens certainly is a wonderful artist. I love that she moves passed the technical skill to real artistic representation that captures the life and thoughts of her subjects.

Pammi

Aaaaww, Impie this little sweetheart is so lovely. That cheeky little face brings a huge smile to my face. Another winner from this very talented lady. ♥♦♣

P.S. It's the horses' birthday in Australia today so every horse turns a year older regardless of when they were actually born. ☺☺
