Our gorgeous Coyote visitor - RED. He comes for the water we put out for the birds and rabbits. And, I guess he comes for the rabbits also, but I have never seen him hunt or chase them. I figure the Coyotes do their hunting at night because we can hear them singing at night.

kayboblee - We do on occasion have feral cats - the first of three litters we have had under our house several years ago - once we saw them a fence went up that same day in the front yard to protect them from Coyotes. Through the years, yes, the cats did learn that the fenced in areas were the safest. Believe me that was a lot of visits to the spay/neuter clinic. We had the backyard & side yard fenced for our doggies. Judi

Curious Coyote around the house I would love that. It's a beauty TFS Judi! :-)

:-) Thanks for letting me know, jjstock.

Yes, lots of bunnies and ground squirrels. Wish they would get more ground squirrels though.

In our area, there is concern for cats being lost to coyotes. Is not that the case where you are? Maybe there are enough rabbits or other animals to keep them satisfied. Just curious, jjstorck. And thanks for your posts. :-)

He is a beauty.
