Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I was driving through Central Idaho in mid-September when I passed these mountains. They were either the Sawtooth Mountains or the ones right next to them. Either way, they had been snowed on the night before. I didn't have to drive much further when I was snowed on myself.

elliewebster, after a record hot summer here, fall has suddenly turned wetter and much cooler than normal. It will be interesting to see what kind of winter our nation gets, Terry

Lovely, quiet scene as well as a reminder that winter is ahead! Thanks.

dusty and "bear," I like the way snow enhances the looks of mountains for my photos. I am not a fan a accumulating snow. Fortunately, we live where we only get an inch or two every year or two. Terry

Dusty Dog, I am with you! I like the snow - over there - on top of the mountains, it's O.K. on the grass and trees, STAY OFF the roads and sidewalks/walkways!!!

Always good to see snow up on top of the mountains. (Standing/walking in knee-deep snow? Not so happy to see it.)
