We feel very fortunate to be over here, and very blessed. It was our empty nest gift to ourselves. The views, the lot sizes, no HOA, the wildlife, etc. We are very grateful to be where we are. We see new homes going up around us all the time, maybe you'll get over yet, although the schools ARE better in Mesa. That is why we waited too.

We may have lived close to each other at one time. I formerly lived at Sunland Village East between Baseline and Guadalupe east of Sossaman. Then my grandson came to live with me so we bought a family home in his school district near University and Sossaman. There was nothing east of us until they built the new 2 story homes a while ago. My friend's brother lives out your way and the views are so beautiful. I'm a bit jealous.

Thank you joyfulli. I don't often comment on yours, but do enjoy solving many of them, especially the deer.

What a pretty picture, @Sharon72 alerted me to it. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks Sharon. This was taken Monday afternoon. This morning, Tuesday, it had even more white on it than in this picture and it went further down the side. There was still some left on the southeast end and up by Flatiron at sunset. You could probably still see some of it tomorrow morning. Friday they are forecasting more rain and cooler temps. Maybe it will happen again. I feel your frustration with the two story houses that were built near you. We use to live near Ellsworth & Guadalupe, but it became too developed for us after the 202 went in.

Great picture! You have a beautiful view. I had never had that term before. Was this Sunday or today, Monday? My son came home from work yesterday and picked some off the roof of my car and he and my grandson were throwing it at me. We don't live as far east as you, but until a development of two story houses was built next to us, we used to be able to see the Superstitions from our front yard. I wish I'd gone up a block and looked that way. Thanks for sharing and for the term. We looked it up and learned something new!
