Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Sitting on the deck, doing "nuthin". Decided to take pictures of what I see from my chair. (Proving I am easily amused.) Windsocks.

Carol--not sure if you have the same news feed: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/1-000-degree-blaze-continues-to-rage-aboard-aboard-navy-ship-in-san-diego/ar-BB16H1yW?ocid=msedgntp

longnwater

you are right it was called the Bonnie Dick

Carol66

Wikipedia has me confused. My being confused is not unusual. Must take time to read it thoroughly......

Carol66

Longnwater, I see the Bonhomme Richard is still on fire. If I remember correctly she was referred to a "Bonnie Dick"...........I will have to research to see what year she was built.........she's been around a long time?!!!

Carol66

Longnwater, it's a deal. If you care to share, what part of the country do you live in?

longnwater

fly mine all the time too and you should make a puzzle out of your neighbors flag I would work it

calluna

Nice!

Carol66

Takes one to know one! I live in a neighborhood of ALL retired military........you should see the flags that fly here. :) My personal favorite is the retired Marine across the street
has his American and Marine Corps flags flying everyday (weather permitting of course). Mmmm, should take a picture and make a puzzle.......

longnwater

lol you know it is hard to hide

Carol66

Longnwater, I looked at your page........looks to me like your name is spelled "patriot". :)

longnwater

thank you Carol glad to have served

Carol66

:)

Guess we can count the current state as a blessing!

Carol66

PS there were drawbacks......IE Ma'am gets out of bed just to go to the "powder" room,
Returns to find the bed made. LOL

Carol66

LOL Good one!

That is what I have heard. One of my neighbors moved to India and loves it for the same reason: the staff! Now we know how Payton feels.

Carol66

LOL, many good things there.........IE maid, amah, yardboy/houseboy.......after 5 years it was quite the shock to return to the States and learn to cook and clean again. ;)

Wow--I cannot imagine living at Subic. Lol!

Carol66

It is a small world indeed! Lived at Subic for 5 years. Husband was stationed at
NAS Cubi Point. Our first year we lived outside the base in Olongapo City......a true learning experience. Would not trade it for the world........would not want to do it
again! ;)

What a great story. I have a dear quadraphonic system that came from Subic Bay. It is a small world.

Carol66

Hi Longnwater! I know the USS Ranger........remember the days when it pulled into Subic Bay and a crew member was selected to sit on a white faux horse, dressed like the Lone Ranger??? Thank you for your service!

longnwater

love the flags for sure, thanks

Lovely! Thanks Carol.
