Yes Dil, a fellow by the name of Jacques from Belgium........he tried to hijack Jenny a few years ago and I blew him right back to Belgium.........never heard from him since!!!!

Dilubreuer

Have you tried welcoming unwanted visitors using that Robbie?

porgy

Hi spark........have a nice ring to them! Hee hee.

sparklightie

i love the words " liquid gold " ☺☺

porgy

Yes I think water is like liquid gold in many places now!

Deanna

Robbie, thank you for the explanation. It is really admirable how color stable and beautiful white is the surface provided with cement lime. Rainwater retention is a thing we did not have to do yet. With constant warming comes a great drought and so we should go to your school to manage water. Rainwater tanks will soon be necessary here also ♥:))

porgy

Thank you Barb!
Deanna the roof is layed with sandstone slates 18" by 12" by 1" thick. Then they are coated with cement wash which dries to a hard crust. On top of that we put 2 to 3 coats of cement/lime whitewash and we catch all our fresh water from the rain and it is stored under our house in a concrete tank.

Beautiful :)

Deanna

Robbie, thank you for your beautiful photo with perfect color matching as a friendly welcoming to your house. May I ask you something? What kind of white roofing material is on your houses, I am surprised that it keeps beautiful and brilliant white color ♥:))

porgy

Plenty of them Jill, hee hee!

It's still lovely Robbie. Do most of your unwelcome visitors come by sea? Looks like the cannon is pointing that way. lol Thanks.
