@scifi72, as always young man, your observations are "right on". The The Apotheosis of Homer is a new art work unknown to me until now. It is quite remarkable for all its detail and inclusion. Thank you @AnneHH for this puzzle.

What a interesting and striking painting. I see Homer and other classical figures but at the bottom of the steps and to the sides I see anachronisms - people out of time & place. Is that Moliere? Twilight Zone? Outer Limits? So I head to my go-to source Wikipedia. Lo and behold, I am not seeing things.
