Thank u Dawn This household my mind OR tool I may own will only b used with the standard good old American measurement. It was good enough for my dad its good enough for me.
@bevpuzzler8 Bev can you tag that puzzle (Ohwhynot) for me again. I thought I bookmarked it and was going to look at it now, but I can't find it in my bookmarked cache. Thanks. Nev and Dixiegal both missing.
@rswestley hell's bells man if I was 20 years younger I'd fill my dance card with j's. My dancing shoes damn near wore out 20 yrs. ago. Thank you. Bev.
Good morning Miss Bev! I dont know much about sink holes, but I'm pretty sure that if I got swalloed up by a sink hole, Mother Earth would waste no time spitting me out. All's well in my world. Are you still teasing all the boys? :-)
"Bev the puzzler, pudding and pie, Kissed the boys and made them cry, When the boys came out to play, Bev the puzzler squashed them like little bugs" (or something like that) :-)
Have a great day, Bev! It's always a pleasure to hear from You! (If only I was 20 years younger - and handsome - and rich - I would be wearing out your dancing shoes :-)
We're used to klicks (km) in Canada but mentally still use miles as well indiscriminately. However, never got used to metric in England so I still think in inches, feet , toenails and yards. Now, I also use ounces or grams when cooking, Hubb uses Imperial (or English in USA) and the whole lot is a mixed up bunch weighing 3 stone 12 pounds (English). ✿❛‿❛✿
Yup. I only (reluctantly) learned to use the metric system when I was working in Optical. ALL measurements on eye distance, seg heights, lens sizes and temple lengths are in millimeters.
