Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Thanks to Heidi for giving me the idea ... and the name. 😊

I looked up quite a few Traffic Jam recipes, most of them were Amish. All of them called for cranberries, so I substituted rhubarb & lemon and came up with a very unique, and quite tasty flavor.

The raspberries, strawberries & rhubarb all came from my garden 😊

bblessing

It'll be like the movie "Field of Dreams", John!!!!! Keep the lights on for us! ; ))))

SPaceDinVADerOne

SPaceDinVADerOne

NW Iowa ... 3rd cornfield on the left ... look for my arm waving frantically to get your attention 😊

John.....give us your address and you'll have tasters lined up at your door!!!!!

pats"""""".....give us your address and you won't have to worry about all those leftover strawberries and biscuits!!!

Surreal_Heidi

The Traffic Jam that I buy locally is my all-time favorite jam. I wish you great success with your version, John!!!

patsquire

Oh, a halo, eh? Sure.

SPaceDinVADerOne

😇

JillianB

Would love to give it a try. Impressive name and label.

patsquire

HEY! What happened to my biscuits? THERE'S ONE MISSING! And some STRAWBERRIES TOO! Hmmmmmm, this is a mystery.............

I bet. They are needed.

SPaceDinVADerOne

@Juba1010 ... you're not alone ... I have enough for one more batch until we pick apples again this Fall 😊

@pasta ... the idea for the label was running through my head since the day Heidi told me about Traffic Jam, it was just a question of finding everything FTU, then putting it all together

@Ianto ... there is never a shortage of volunteers to become taste testers 😂 lol

That is good, Just don't let them eat all of it.
I bet that there is quite a few that just show up.

pasta

That sounds really good. I like the label. :)

Juba1010

I’m still obsessing on the caramel apple jelly.

Bubble

Sounds tooting good John 📯📣

SPaceDinVADerOne

@patsquire ... look ... a spider!!! ::: fixes a bowl of strawberry shortcake ... acts all innocent while eating it :::

@Bubble ... musically, yes ... so I had to look up the recipe ...

Ingredients
4 quarts firm-ripe berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) stemmed or hulled, washed and drained well.
Sugar
1 or 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

which is the same recipe I use for Very Berry 😊

@ringleader ... kinda wish you didn't have to Ardy ... there's a smile in every bite 😊

ringleader

Hope it sells well for you. I have to avoid all such products these days. ☺

Bubble

Clever name and sounds delicious.
John - have you ever come across Jam Session jam? 🎵🎼🎶

patsquire

☺ Not one bite! ☺

SPaceDinVADerOne

thanks all 😊

@manicpuzzler ... yum describes this very well indeed Bonnie 😊

@Ianto ... anyone who happens to walk into my kitchen at the right time becomes a taste tester Jolene 🙮 ... and there is never a shortage of willing testers 😉

@msbonne ... once again Hoff ... we have had this discussion ... alcohol will not let the jams set up. how about some nice scotch tape instead 😉

@PWH ... well that describes me ... except I substituted French Canadian for German 😉 ... but my wife has some German ... does that count? 😂

@patsquire ... plenty left ... so your sharing? 😂 lolol

CJ45

Well done John " Your Jamming , your Jamming" LOL!!!
Hope it sells well.

patsquire

I prepared a quart of strawberries a few days ago and let them soak with sugar. This morning I baked shortcakes and had a big bowl of strawberry shortcake. WOW!!! First time in years. Plenty of biscuits and strawberries left, too. YUMMMMMMM!

I think your Traffic Jam will take off like gangbusters. ☺

bblessing

i hope i get an invite for that day of taste testing.

nanab

I can't wait to hear how well it sells and what the tasters think of it.

PWH

My ancestors created a Traffic Jam - Scotch, Irish, German, and Native American. So be careful what all you put into your traffic Jams, John.

Okay.

msbonne

I WANT SCOTCH JAM!!!

Hoff, the Scotch is in a glass to have with the jams.

msbonne

Then WHY won't Spacemnan use it?

bblessing

scotch is ALWAYS an extra option, Hoff

msbonne

:::sigh:::

Still no scotch.

hippo

Interesting idea, I generally prefer my tastes more separated, but I would give this a go... just to see... :))

I bet it tastes great. Who are your taste testers?

manicpuzzler

YUM!
