Why are you reporting this puzzle?

A church with the same name was first mentioned on this site in 1216, and the parish registers date from 1612. Most of the current building dates from 1865, when the church was largely restored and rebuit using the designs of architect George Gilbert Scott.

The churchyard contains the grave of a celebrated Georgian actress Mary 'Perdita' Robinson, an alleged mistress (one of the many) of George IV.

For us, yet again, a geocaching trip.

You're welcome, Tom. Yes, photo wise I thought the gate was a bit more interesting than the church itself, which having been rebuilt was standard Victorian :)

Great puzzle Janet! Love the unusual double lych gate ... and the St Andrew's Cross of course! ;) Thanks for sharing, Tom.
