Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Also called a Cicada or The Harvestfly. I have always called them Cicadas. I first noticed this pale yellow fellow on the ground near my flowers. He then started to turn green. I returned him to his original spot.

He looked like he had green on the edges of the wings, the head and thorax but the abdomen was turning a dark tan color. The adults look mostly brownish to me.

What colour did he end up?
