At School
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
The Woodchurch Village Life Museum has a section on life at school in Victorian and Edwardian times. There are old desks that schoolchildren used to sit at and slates they used to write on, instead of paper and computers. You’ll also see a rocking horse and read about Charlie Watts, the famous ‘Fat Boy of Woodchurch’. When Charlie was just 9 years old he weighed 9 stone (57 kg). Three years later he weighed 12 stone (76 kg) and was 5 feet 6 inches tall (1.68 m). Despite his size, Charlie Watts regularly played football and cricket.
