I have a couple of very large turkeys hanging around my townhouse. Definitely won’t try to catch them. They’ve been known to chase me into the house.

Oh my goodness that is an absolute monster!! Glad it tasted good. Cheers Bea

That sounds sooooo yummy! My hubby is not a turkey fan either but I love it. So, I don't cook them...have to wait for an invite (or I invite myself!) She's about a 4 hour drive from here. Her husband is a great cook also, but he is the smoker (bbq). That is scrumptious! bf

That's unusual because generally a very large turkey tends to dry out a bit because you have to cook it so long. My dad was not a big turkey fan, but when mom made turkey, she seasoned and basted it overnight, and then bbq'd it...oh my, it was to die for...so good.

It was not dry at all. Moist and juicy and yummy. My 'daughter' (niece) is a great cook. Wish I could cook half as good as she. bf

@Donnajames - That is some bird but me thinks it might be a tad dry when you think how long it will have to bake...a former client of mine always deep fried their turkey but max weight was 20 lbs.

@Birgit73 :-)) bf
