Reminds you of our grandparents' homes way back when, doesn't it? :)))

I did go read and look at the link. It was quite a house back then. Beautiful.

It is a lovely home, Ardy...or "was" as it is no longer functional. If you look at the link you can see how it has changed a bit over the years...the veranda used to run along this side of the house...making it even more "family friendly". ❤️

I hope the keeper doesn't have to climb the ladder to get to the light. I was thinking this was ideal for the keeper not to need to go outside to get to the light - until I saw the ladder. A lovely residence. I wouldn't mind living there. Thanks, Faye. ♥

And just down to the left, Jill, is a grassy, park setting...with a few walking paths...where I took the next picture looking across the water at Charlottetown. :)

I was impressed by the size of the home here. And it was empty, easy road in...not too far from Charlottetown...perhaps you could rent... ;DDD

P.S. I remember...when I was 11 or 12...drawing up plans to live in a circular lighthouse...kindred spirits?

Gorgeous house attached to the lighthouse, both looking so lovely and smart in white with red trims. TFS Faye

What a very unique lighthouse, and I really enjoyed reading the history. Don't know why, but I always wanted to live in a lighthouse. I guess because I love the ocean so much............Wendy
