Hi Judy, Lots of Laughs about names My first grandson who has lived with me since he was 1 year old now 18 teen (Problems between mum and dad) but no matter. His name is Morgen a German name for morning as he was born in the morning and he will respond to be called morning or Morgen his school mates called him by his nick name of Clive as it was his second name. I call my wife Kays as that I thought she said when I first met her when we were teens but it is not her birth name and even her Mother called her K's after I married her.LOL!!!

I don't know any Clives. I do know of a town in Iowa named Clive. Names can be very faddish. There were lots of Sues, Loris, Debbys and Kathys when I was in school. We are expecting a grandson next Spring. I am excited to see what they will name him.

Hi Robin & Clive! My sis & her clan left this a.m....back to AZ after a 10 day visit. I IMMEDIATELY fell asleep for 4 hours (in a row!) after they left (tee hee) :))) I will miss little Joey (12) the most. He is autistic, doesn't speak, so can't complain about my singing ♫ ...and the sweetest kid ever! :)) ♥ [My family is a bit of a crazy bunch, too!]

Thee Hee robin my birthday is in June so we are only a year apart. Grandson Does not know any different as he has lived with us since he was about 1 year old But does see his Dad and Mum but has difficulty with his Mum sadly but we can not win all the time only time will heal I am sure as his Mum re- married and he thinks her husband is a .........!

hi lori.......don't know how I missed this one....but in '54 I was 10 years old....lol......and I remember it all.........even the magazine covers.(because my uncle was the distributor for BC magazines and I got to read all the comics and film books that came out)....oh boy did I think I was lucky....lol...and we were allowed to watch disney every sunday......good memories........thanks lori.......robin

You can spend hours on the internet. While it does have some drawbacks, I love the information that is readily available to anyone with a computer and internet.

Oh, there are fantastic 'freebies' all over YT...sometimes it takes a little searching, but it is definitely worth it. Great stuff for kids of all ages as well! ♥

Petrol is about £1.14 pence a litre here in the UK. There are 3.7 litres to an America gallon.
We used to pay a lot more till the oil war started.
1$ = £1:30 at present.
Enjoy filling your car with petrol oh by the way diesel is more expensive by the litre, than petrol.

AND at most grocery stores we have both parking lot attendants (guide you in and out of spaces, retrieve shopping carts, etc.) and grocery baggers at the checkstand, who will also carry your purchases out to your car if you need help!! Most are retired volunteers who work for tips only,

Really Dave?? I have never had an attendant do anything but pump gas! Most stations around here don't even have those DIY window wipers any more. (*note to self - move in with Dave)

Mags, those grocery points really do add up...saves a lot. (But around my way, you have to go to a certain station to use them...9 miles away.) :)

Gas runs about $2.60 a gallon here, but we DO have attendants who also wash your windows, check under the hood, tire pressure . . . .
