Taz was careful. I often felt like I was pulling him through a course. I said he needed a little crazy.

@spencersmom - you travel in good circles to have that sort of friend! The sport that Pax and I play is quite different than those world class dogs, that's for sure. They are amazing. I have managed to turn my high-drive, field bred, Labrador into a careful agility partner. This is good and bad, as we Q alot but I am having trouble making time in Premier JWW even though she is the quickest and strongest dog I have ever run. A friend said I needed to dye my hair purple and be crazier LOL! All good fun and whether herding or agility, what a gift to have dogs to work with. I suspect your Border Collies are happiest herding and probably are happy you made the switch.

Wow @PaxLab! I did agility til my knee surgery, but never at that level. I do have a herding friend who is a canine massage therapist. She is on her way back from Sweden where she massaged our national agility team.

@spencersmom - So happy to hear you have been busy and not sick! And, happy to hear you have been getting in alot of herding. Congrats to Katie's mom for qualifying for Finals. Must have been fun to watch all the top dogs compete. Good luck to Katie in the upcoming weeks. Pax continues to be strong in agility. She has a few MACH titles under he belt, so we are mostly working on her AKC Premier titles. The courses are quite challenging (for me more than her!), but therefore great fun ... when we are successful :-)

Hi @PaxLab, all’s well, thanks for asking. I got sidetracked. Starting again, trying to regain touch. Dogs and family all ok, lots of herding activities. Went to National Sheepdog Finals to watch Katie’s mom, who qualified. Katie has started competing as well. Three trials in the next three weeks. Amazing opportunities for young dogs this year. Hope all’s good with you!

Hey Spencersmom - I haven't seen you on Terry's site for awhile now. Hope all is well with you and your 2 and 4-legged family.

How funny! I love this. I can picture that from inside the house. Look at sweet Bug at front and Miss Kate there at the back. Tazzie looks ready. Pippi just comfy.
