Taken at Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, Brisbane on Mother's Day.
I don't usually like Ibis, as they can be quite pesky around cafes & picnickers, but this one seemed to have a few extra frilly feathers!

Hi Rob - he does seem to have put into extra effort to frill the feathers today!! Good shot☺♥

THis one doesn't look bothersome, at least now. But it may be full of picnic goodies for all I know. Nice photo, Robyn!!

A "beakcombing" photo of the Ibis grooming. Well done, Rob!

Got to be neat.
Thanks Rob.

Does have some lovely feathers doesn't he.

Busy fellow, going about his grooming, we see plenty of these but not white ones, a little different than ours, Thanks Rob.

Great shot, beautiful white feathers Rob, I've read where the Australian Ibis is a sister to the Sacred Ibis in Egypt. which have been introduced to Florida in the U.S. and are doing well.

A great pic, Rob. You have an excellent shot of him grooming. I quite like Ibis. We have them strolling around on our lawn sometimes, and on the airport behind our house. hugs, janet
