Guess we each have our own "zoo" to contend with. I have more than plenty to do, that's for sure! Thanks for response, Julie, take care, and be well... :-))
Our weather is starting to change and the summer rain pattern is kicking in. Thank you to whoever did the rain dance for us Floridians. Please let us have a good hurricane season and safety for all...and plenty of ice cream for precious great-gran Julie.
Sorry to hear you were caught in one of those massive traffic jams. Always good to take the cautious route when bad weather might strike, not that my husband & I always do that. :-P
We seldom have storms in Palm Bay. But last year, the predictions scared and we evacuated to Tampa. We weren't the only ones. We were caught up in a massive traffic jam getting to Lakeland.
Yes, and I seem to recall 2004 was kind of bad, too. ??
Every year as we come upon summer, I wonder what we will be facing in the way of hurricanes before the season is over. Where I live we've been mighty lucky for a number of years now.
Thanks RaynaGrace. This is my namesake and great-granddaughter, Juliana. Like you, I spend a lot of time hoping for rain. I'm sure I can get julie to dance.
Beautiful baby! I'm on the west coast of FL near Sarasota. Gorgeous beaches here & getting very crowded. We're in a drought, need everyone to do a little rain dance for us, pls.
Went to panhandle once. Wide, white beaches and calm gulf water. I'm with you on that. All the beaches are different and all good. Like the springs and the rivers. Now for a little rainwater..........
Usually depends on area & time of day, when you are driving in Tampa, as to how bad the traffic will seem.
I like both the Atlantic and Gulf beaches & the waters of both the Gulf & the Atlantic. You can put me at a beach on either side of the state & I'll be happy. :-))
Am not familiar with panhandle area of Florida and have not been to beach area in Miami, though I have been in Miami, briefly, several times. And I've never been to the Keys.
Yes, nice to meet up. Let's enjoy our Florida weekends!
I have a brother in Dunedin. He says traffic around Tampa is evil. I was raised in Miami and lived in Daytona Beach. Beaches in DB are good. Here in Melbourne Beach the water is rough. Just south of us, Sebastian Inlet is world famous for surfers. I greatly prefer your beaches. Nice to meet you.
You're welcome jp. My son wouldn't eat ice cream until it was melted. He said it made his teeth shiver. Little J.,[she's my Greatgranddaughter] doesn't have any problem.
My grandson had his 1st ice cream on his 1st birthday....he wanted to like it but it was so cold......his expression was priceless. This little possum seems to be really enjoying hers. Thank you.
