You are right, at least for the '50 Ford. Ford offered it as an option from Ford. I'm not sure about the Studebaker? But may be possible, even to adapt the Ford? There were Trippe Lights that did that way back in the 30's before Tucker. There are optional Ford options for '51 also, to fit in the two bullets you could get the fog light option, or even the driving light option too, for replacing the bullets. If you use a cable you can probably do it on anything? .....Lincoln used curb lights on the sides of the front fenders too. I don't know of an after market kit, but there may have been one. If I recall 51-vic, there was an after market kit produced where the center grill "bullet" could be removed & a steerable (attached to the steering mechanism), head light installed, I guess for lighting up corner turns & etc. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. Bill W.
