Very nice Pat.
Thank you Pumpkin.
I was there on a dawn shoot and got the pictures of those trees at dawn in the water which I posted several months ago. By the time I could get a good shot of the lighthouse I was too tired to climb to the top and it was only 8AM. It took several hours to get there and since we wanted to be there by first light we left the house at 3AM. They have a camp site there and it is slowly getting reclaimed by the ocean too.
This is the Lighthouse we visited in Feb 1988. I have picture climbing the stairs. When we got to the first level I told the son and hubby I wasn't going any farther. They went on to the top without me. The wind was so strong you could feel it swaying. We were there to see the one son graduate from the Marine Corps at Parris Island. Beautiful place.
I had to google this to get more information....did you go inside, or just enjoy the view from the outside? Here's a simple website I found about the lighthouse, if anyone is interested. http://www.huntingisland.com/light.htm
Nice angle on this shot, PG.
