Finally someone I know! Swallows are (at the time) still quite prevalent here in Germany; we see them often and use them as tiny weather radars: When swallows are flying low a thunderstorm is on its way!

Love the sleek and pretty tree swallow. Years ago they took possession of a birdhouse at our place BUT the vicious House Sparrows ganged up on the couple in a big fight forcing the swallows to leave. 😮😕
