Thank you Anny! I was happy to see this guy. :)

Looks so perfect Patti xx

Oh, fascinating! Now I'll have to pay attention to when they fly low! Thank you Celine!

Finally someone I know! Swallows are (at the time) still quite prevalent here in Germany; we see them often and use them as tiny weather radars: When swallows are flying low a thunderstorm is on its way!
Thanks for catching this one for us!

Thank you Jillian!

Thank you Lorna! Yes, I was surprised to see him too. :)

Thank you Ank!

Another beauty, thanks Patti. ♥♥♥

Fabulous photo Patti! Such a beautiful bird yet I'm surprised you see them so soon after winter finally left you; I wouldn't expect to see our swallows until summer! Thank you.

Look at that beautiful sheen! Lovely thank you

Thanks so much Jacki and Ed!

Thank you Surfer-- but so sorry to hear that! Good thing I never see house sparrows where this guy was. :)

Thank you Shirley! Glad you enjoyed!

Lovely capture of their iridescent colours, Patti, Thank you.

Beautiful shot PLG
Love the sleek and pretty tree swallow. Years ago they took possession of a birdhouse at our place BUT the vicious House Sparrows ganged up on the couple in a big fight forcing the swallows to leave. 😮😕

WOW Great shot, Patti!

WOW! What a perfect shot! Thank you Patti!

Thank you Robbie! It's so nice to have so many of them back again after the long winter. :)

Another winner PLG, all you ladies are sure spotting some interesting birds every hour it seems!
