@lea43th, a little of both. Border Terriers originate from the border of Scotland and England, so Dickens seemed right, but I also thought it would be a great name for a Terrier. I'm surprised to hear that about French Bulldogs. One of the wolfhound puppies from my last litter went to a couple that also have Frenchies. They seem like great little dogs too.

Was he named after Charles Dickens or do you just like the name. Cute dog, thanks Jenn for posting. I was just reading an article on dogs and Jack Russells are supposed to live the longest. French Bulldogs have the shortest life expectancy.
