Reflections on Cash Creek

A lot of the snowbirds we know here have while fishing for something else, but I have not.

Fishing is fun but the speckled trout don't always cooperate ! Do you ever catch redfish ?

We fish for spotted sea trout here, but because of all the fresh water coming down from the north, and the cold weather, they don't come this far up the creek in January. So I hear. We have not caught any for the last 2 seasons. I did catch a 26+ inch sea trout further up a couple of years ago. I'm not a good fisherperson, but am sometimes lucky. :)

Yes, we were fishing but not catching. We had heard from my brother that they were catching fish on this body of water, but found out later they were a lot further downstream (closer to the Gulf and more saltwater). Didn't really care because it was such a great day weather-wise. Thanks for your comments.
