Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Claude Monet (1840 - 1926) painted The Artist's Garden at Vétheuil in 1880. After his wife Camille's death, friend Alice Hoschedé stayed with Monet, and they raised their children together as one large family.

Monet cultivated a garden in Vétheuil and painted their youngest children together on a path flanked by giant sunflowers. The dominant complementary colors, heightened by the rapid manner in which he dabbed his paint on the canvas, create a sense of movement across the canvas as if the flowers are stirred by a warm summer breeze.

Information is taken, with thanks and appreciation, from http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/arts/artwork/claude-monet-paintings-1879-18863.htm

This Claude Monet - The Artist's Garden at Vetheuil is posted in 4 sizes - 30, 80, 130 and 320 pieces. Please enjoy.

Each puzzle gives different information on the painting.

Cheerio, Jason :-)

Hmm... now how reputable or reliable is that Amazing Zone?
I tend not to believe all they put out in the Internet. I read the entry in Wikipedia and found nothing related. I think this time my friend we probably differ.

CJ45

Forgot to say hope you enjoy.

Clive, I LOVE Impressionism, is probably about the only one. Though I like some Art Deco, Fauvism (but only some of Matisse landscapes), some of Post-Impressionism well only Van Gogh's landscapes and still life, not the portraits... I love flowers, gardens and birds in watercolors. For impressionistic paintings I prefer oil.
Much older... I had few books on Impressionism, not only to delight looking at the paintings but because I have discovered it was the one I loved.
I grew up, until I was 5, I have clear memories must have been 4-5 years old, next to my uncle's studio in our backyard... paints and canvases, it was a magical world for a little girl. When he returned home he was no longer painting the same. He turned into a sort of Picasso style.
And I found nothing about Monet being poor or winning the lottery, were you pulling my leg?
Did read that "he was very close to his mother, but she died when he was sixteen years old..." That is very sad! I read books on Monet and Renoir my two favorites, and remember nothing.
There you go, now you know that side of me, which I hardly talk about. (•‿-) 💛
