leonsr43, LOL. you're right. there were only eight rudolph was added on that "foggy Christmas Eve", because Santa needed his bright red nose. Haha. cute story.

LEARNED THESE VERY EARLY !!

As a child, I loved the poem, but it was when I was in my Sr. yr. High School that it was indelibly burned into my brain. Among several other selections, our speech & drama teacher/coach selected that and Stille Nacht (3 verses in the German) to be presented at the annual Christmas festivities.
Our school was large, with approx. 1200 students and around 75 teachers and administrators, so it was a pretty large crowd.
We learned it (and loved every minute!) very well!

You'd be surprised how many people cannot name Santa's reindeers, lefty, Becca and shirl :) I had to be reminded myself!!
