Cool. Avro makes them, but it's the BAe 146 basic design licensed from British Aerospace, right? Either way, it's one mighty fine aircraft!

They're actually not BAE146's, they are Avro RJ 85's. Only slight differences that most people wouldn't recognize. These are converted in Canada with external tanks but there is a company in the US that is converting BAE146's with internal tanks.

That's the BAE 146! Great plane, tremendously capable and adaptable. Stable, rugged, plenty of power. I'm not surprised to learn that it's been turned into a fire fighting tanker. It was always my favorite passenger airplane.
