Not sure I understand the title of this puzzle but it's a fun shot anyway. About to try the puzzle part.

There aren't that many flowers anymore here either Ginni, and not that many insects. Though I saw some in the polder yesterday :)) But the photos may not be good enough, there was quite a strong wind sometimes.

Zou best kunnen liertje. Ik zag er zaterdag ('t was hier somber en koud!) ook een aantal in de polder. Had ik eigenlijk niet verwacht met dat vervelende weer. Het waren geloof ik blinde bijen, moet 't nog even uitzoeken. Als één van de foto's redelijk goed genoeg is plaats ik 'm misschien nog wel :))

Thanks luckybie!! I had some very cold days during my vacation, but there's an advantage : when the sun is coming out for a little while on cold days, the insects sometimes come and sit in the sunshine, and don't move :))))

It sure is Judyly! I love hoverflies, they come in all sizes and colors :) Where do you live?

There aren't many flowers on the trails right now, but I have been looking very carefully for insects and all I see is an occasional honeybee! Good thing you share your wonderful insects with us all. :-)

Leuk schutkleur, hij lijkt erop dat er weer een hoop nieuwe uitgekomen zijn, want zie ze hier de afgelopen dagen ook regelmatig en natuurlijk de citroen pendel ☺

Schutkleur, On macro-zoom this fly is incredible. (ʘ‿ʘ) You did perfection! He was a "non-mover" for you!
