The house where Didi grew up, (now has a another owner after it was sold a few years back) he showed this to me and I took some photos. At the end of the road is a supermarket, where we stopped for some burgers. A woman approached us and asked Didi why we were taking photos of her house. Didi explained that he grew up there as it was their family home for sometime, guess she was convinced and assured there's nothing to worry.

It's food to live in a small village far from urban development Marina, noone gets interested to demolish houses in favor of new constructions. Mine is still where mom lives now.

Wir fliegen gewühnlich nach Frankfurt wenn wir Deutschland besuchen, @Rosenrot . Von dort fahren wir mit dem Zug nach Köln bzw. Düren, NRW. Liebe Grüsse, Lunie.

It is good that Didi's family home still stands today. The house I grew up and many others were demolished in the late '70s in favour of tall multi apartment buildings. I like Didi's house very much. Marina.

I understood how she felt watching us taking shots of her home Ardy. The house was sold in the early 90s, I guess and the new owner had no idea who were living there before...it could have made her so worried she needed to follow us to the Supermarket to ask why we took those shots. Welcome.

Dilubreuer

Yes Val, didi always shares with me their happy childhood in here so the first time I went to Germany, he showed me his childhood home.

Don't like to part with my houses Jan, reason why when the super typhoon in 2013 took one from us, it broke my heart. Welcome and hugs.

Beautiful home !!!

ringleader

Good to get pictures. Glad you were able to reassure the new owner. It is a worry these days when strangers start looking at and/or taking pictures of your house. Thanks, Lunie & Didi.

Welcome Jacki. The main structure is the same but I guess the exterior has been remodeled several times already.
