That's so sweet of you Sandy. I'm so glad we made it happen. It was great meeting both of you. This bridge connects the Lincoln Memorial with Arlington National Cemetery. I remember when it was a working draw bridge. I think it was one time we were here visiting family and had to sit and wait for a boat to go through. I've read they are going to repair that too this summer.

Thanks for the link, Ardy. I did not know the name of the bridge. We in Missouri are accustomed to hot and muggy. That's our July and August every year almost. I had a very nice time in DC, but the highlight was dinner with you, Ardy!

I love the arches, Barb. It didn't rain on us, but the sky was a treetop level. It was very hot and muggy.
