Bubble

Thanks chookies - you're absolutely right - we're so lucky.
The weather is supposed to dip dramatically on Sunday to -6, for us that's pretty cold and the hummingbird feeders will have to come in overnight.
Your heatwave is part of the global warming, hope you're 'weathering' it.
Our cousins live in Perth and just love it, bet its hot there!! (✿´‿`)

Hey Bubble, I didn't know you lived on Vancouver Island!! I have visited Vancouver as I have a brother who has lived there since he was in his late 20's - he's now 70ish - and his wife has a son living on Vancouver Island, so my brother often hops on the ferry to go across to visit him and then has to drive a couple of hours to his house. Vancouver is such a wonderful place - I just LOVE it. Although I've never been across to the Island, I believe it's just as pictureous. You do live in a beautiful part of the world.

Bubble

I hope he's not starting a new trend, chookies.
I didn't know that thongs were sandals in Oz - - anything looks better than a thong here on the west coast.

There's a lot more puzzles to solve on this site - if you don't like mine, MOVE ON.......simple as that!

Yes, I do. Some things are funny to some people and not to others. My mother didn't like drunk jokes because my grandfather was a binge drinker. My mother and grandmother died suffering from dementia. Need I say more? If YOU have anything more I'm not going to engage.

@motherofsleep44

Oh for goodness sake, motherofsleep, will you PLEASE loosen up!!! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with a person suffering from Alzheimer's - where on earth did that come from?

Most folks who visit my site know that I'm Australian and a VERY proud one at that. I will spell it out to you as it's quite obvious that you don't get it!!!!

This is the definition of the word 'thong' in Australia.
----------------------------------------------------------
When traveling, it’s common to get confused over the language barrier. But even though Australians speak English, some of their slang words can be tricky for tourists. For example, one of the most misunderstood words in Australia is “thong.” Thongs are not skimpy underwear in the land down under, they are what our Aussie friends call flip-flops, a staple piece of footwear for every citizen (especially in Sydney and other coastal cities).

Aussie thongs primarily consist of a sole and thong passing between the first and second toes of the feet and affixed in a Y formation on three points to the sole of the rubber flip-flop. They are typically padded with spongy textures and are incredibly comfortable to wear.

Although thongs in Australia are not the same as the sexy underwear in America, they do have a much more important meaning to Aussies.

Now, I hope you understand! Arghh, stay away from my site if you don't like or understand what I post, PLEASE.

The reason for my comment below is that people suffering from Alzheimer's often put their clothing on wrong or don't put their clothing on at all. I hate to be a wet blanket, as usual, but this little cartoon disturbs me rather than amuses me.

I think he needs more than a hearing aid,

pumpkinhead

Hearing aid needed.

truck

Mixed up or not, I don't want to see that in a thong.

Shian2

Dad's in need of a little help :)))

porgy

Hee hee, little one is peeking chooks!

Early onset...?
