Capitol Reef is one of the best kept secret places in the USA in my opinion. Sure people go there but not like Grand Canyon, ect. One of the most beautiful parks in the system.

Technically there is a distinction between an arch and a natural bridge. A bridge is created by the action of a stream carving out the opening while an arch is created by seasonal freezing and thawing which causes the softer stone underneath hard caprock to flake away leaving an opening under the caprock.

How cool is that?!!! Thanks Rettch!

Oh yes I see it thanks Rettch, we found a few of the bridges like this, in Utah, quite hard to spot. Hugs.
