Can't be a real photo, the roadway is too perfect. No wear and tear in a climate like this is just not real. With all the beautiful in the this world, why would you want to make one up?
Jum, after reading your comment I'd be the first to agree with you but...... I could only find one copy of this image, and it was on a site called Instant Terra, where you can create your own terrain. It does appear that this "Arizona scene" may be totally fictitious. As delightful as it is. I found a video on the above site (it runs for nearly 8 minutes) which tells you how to 'make-up' any scene you want. It's all too high-tech for me, because I live in the real world.
