Why are you reporting this puzzle?

The artwork in Today's Daily Jigsaw Puzzle is titled "L’Arlésienne; Madame Joseph-Michel Ginoux (Marie Julien, 1848–1911) (1888–89)", and the artist is Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890) ♥

Vincent Van Gogh, born in 1853 in the Netherlands, is renowned for his profound influence on 20th-century art.

Initially working as an art dealer, he began his artistic career at 27, inspired by his impoverished surroundings and the laboring class. His prolific period yielded over 2,100 artworks, including 860 oil paintings, within a decade.

Van Gogh's technique grew bolder and more expressive, employing vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes, a hallmark of Post-Impressionism. His unique vision and innovative techniques captured emotional and spiritual depths, significantly impacting Expressionism, Fauvism, and early abstraction. His works gained critical acclaim and immense popularity posthumously.

okay okay maybe i shouldn't deign to comment on this masterpiece.. but i think my observation is a compliment to vvg.. with your finger, if you block out the trailing ribbon from madame ginoux's headpiece, the painting seems to lose some vibrance.. the mark of a master artist to utilize such details.. (that of course imho).. thank you blue for presenting fine art through jigidi, and for putting up with my rants.. tom
.

So nice to be able to do a puzzle of this famous painting. "Madam Ginoux" and "Sunflowers" were the first van Gogh paintings I became familiar with as a child. Thank you so much for posting this, bevpuzzler8.
