Fowly, ok...I have heard of yo yo's...have never made a quilt with them. I do have a pattern to make a Christmas tree on a styrofoam cylinder using yo yo's...Hopefully in the near future. Have to say you certainly learn a lot of this site...lol

Fowly

Hello delanee. Thanks for explaining your quilt procedure. Suffolk Puffs are also called Yo Yos, a circle of fabric and a running stitch around its perimeter, pull that tog, and tie securely then finger press flat with the gather on top. Better description on Google Suffolk puffs. There are plastic gadgets especially made to make these, in various sizes, they are easy to use and make the task much easier. Fay

Good morning Fowly, I used 5" I spy squares. Added 2.5 squares on corner, sew them diagonally. Gives the effect of snowball block.
Not sure what a Suffolk Puff is?
Thanks for doing my puzzle.

Fowly

I was wondering if your quilt was done with Suffolk Puffs. I was going to make one using the puffs and now (2 years later) have a waste paper basket full of them and have lost the desire to use my sewing machine. You know what they say about good intentions!!! Your quilt is lovely and I enjoyed the puzzle. Thanks delanee.

Thank you Johnjones32. The fabric is actually black, but I am sure brown would work too.
